The woman in Xena's costume rode bareback on Argo towards the horsebox, together with two guys who each had a horse; one of these horses was Gabrielle's. To get to the track they had to pass quite close to where I was sitting and although I suspected it wasn't LL (I just didn't think she would be the one to ride the horse back to its box at lunchtime), this was confirmed when they passed me. I assumed that as it was her birthday LL would be out celebrating, but then again if ROC was working LL probably would be too, but sadly for me not on the dune.

ROC went to lunch with four of the crew in a yellow jeep. She sat in the middle of the front seat, between the driver and another person. I have a suspicion that this may have been as a security measure in case I did something stupid, but as the place was full of stunt men and tough looking crew, I may be being overly sensitive. However, from reading Adrian's report it is clear that Pacific Renaissance take their security very seriously.
Just before they finished filming, three guys and their dog appeared at the side of the film set. They were obviously on their way to the lake for a swim. They waited just off the filming area until the filming had finished, and then they walked across the dune close to where the filming had just taken place. It was as a result of this incident that I decided it would probably be okay if I took a closer look.
Once people had gone to lunch; there were still two guys left at the film site who appeared to be working on the camera stand and the track, I went to take pictures of where the filming had been taking place. I stayed at the perimeter of the area to take my pictures of the location and also of the film site. I was careful not to get too close and once I had taken my pictures I went back to my car to have my lunch.

Back at my car, I ate my lunch, listened to the radio and fell asleep. I woke up just after 2 o'clock and went back to where they had been filming. I was half expecting everything to have been dismantled as there had been such a mass exodus when they went for lunch, but everybody was back again.
